Cory has always wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride so since it was my birthday, that was my surprise present. It was amazing...the desert was beautiful this morning. We topped the ride off with a delightful sparkling cider breakfast in the desert. Thanks Cory it was a surprisingly enjoyable and relaxing way to ring in my new year.
Oh my gosh...I'm sure I'd be thinking, (way up there in that fabulous balloon - awesome B-day surprise Cory!)'if I close my eyes & click my heals & repeat...there's no place like home, there's no place like home...that maybe you'd wake up and find you were just in one amazing and very adventurous DREAM!' Oh if that were only true! (*maybe there is a movie in the future though...???)

Ha! Funny Cory got to do what HE wanted on YOUR birthday. Hope you got our card. We hadn't heard you were having complications with the surgery. Hope you'll make a swift recovery.
